Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Betsy grew up watching and listening to her Realtor-mother negotiating high-end residential real estate transactions – and that made an indelible impression. Betsy started her own real estate career in 1993 and quickly gained a reputation as a hard-working, team player with an excellent referral network of friends and clients and top-notch organization and marketin

g skills. Betsy combines market knowledge and technological know-how with a genuine regard for her clients’ preferences and concerns. She is willing to do whatever it takes to help her clients achieve their real estate goals, whether they are stepping-up to a bigger home for their family, are empty nesters looking for something sophisticated and easy, or are first-time buyers just beginning their real estate experience. No stranger to relocation on a personal level, Betsy and her family relocated to London for two years with a corporate move in the early 1990s. She understands that moving a family entails far more than just finding a house and takes particular care with every aspect of a client’s move into or out of Houston. Always a ready volunteer, Betsy has been a Guardian Ad Litem for Child Advocates for many years and is an active participant in numerous support projects at Palmer Memorial Church. She has been instrumental in such successful and well-known events as the Memorial Villages 4th of July Parade, Memorial Villages National Night Out, and numerous other community sponsored and underwritten projects. When her children were in school, she was an active volunteer at St. John's School, Spring Branch Middle School and Memorial High School. A graduate of Chatham Hall in Virginia and the University of Arizona, Betsy lived in in Piney Point Village for many years and taught at the St. Francis Children's Center for six years. She is the mother of two adult sons; Christian, who lives in New York City with his wife and two young boys, and Peter, who lives in Oakland, California. Betsy enjoys antiquing and “traveling anywhere” but especially to New York and California to visit her family. Awards
