My name is Tarah Vann and I simply love the Heights and Oak Forest/Garden Oaks area. These neighborhoods have so much character, and it’s certainly an exciting time to live, work and play here as these areas are in a period of revitalization. I'm delighted to live in Oak Forest with my high school sweetheart, Brett, and our three beautiful children. Our very first home was in Lazybrook, and as our
family grew, so did our need for a larger house. Because it was important for us to stay in the same vicinity, we chose Oak Forest. Being an engaged seller and buyer in my own move made me pay close attention to the value of working with outstanding real estate agent, and I realized I wanted to be just that...an agent helping people find the perfect neighborhood and home. To start this exciting new chapter in my life, I went straight to real estate school and then met Bill Baldwin, broker/owner of Boulevard Realty, who has become a mentor that I can count on 24/7 and who inspires me to work just as tirelessly for my own clients. This transition comes after working in the Memorial Hermann system as a senior financial analyst for 14 years. My main sphere of influence within the MH system was in cost analysis and the budget, a rewarding challenge that I continue to participate in as an internal consultant, though my true focus is now real estate. As an analyst, I honed my exacting attention to detail and my ability to develop meaningful relationships with my clients, which I now know to be fundamental traits of a great realtor. For me, it isn’t just about real estate, it's about bonding with my clients and creating a strong fiduciary relationship. I’m talking about the kind of trust that’s necessary to represent an individual or couple in one of the most important financial transactions they will make in their lifetime. Beside my newfound passion for real estate, my other passion is my family. Brett and I now have three beautiful children: Presley, my oldest, just turned nine; Hudson is seven; and my youngest, Bishop, is three and the most energetic of my children. They all attend St. Theresa Catholic School in Memorial Park, and my involvement there means so much to me. I proudly serve on the school board, PTO, and I'm a homeroom mom to all three of my little ones. I can't think of a better way to spend my time when not working than to be as fully engaged and devoted in the development and education of my children as I am professionally.
