Hilarious!

After 12 years of faithful service at the same construction site, Cone #47 finally got the birthday party it deserved. TxDOT workers celebrated with cake, presents and a brief moment of silence for everyone who once believed the road would be finished by now.

The cone plans to remain on the job until retirement in 2046.

Good to know.

Spot a water stain next to your A/C vent?
It’s easy to look up at a spot like this and think, "Eh, I'll just paint over it later." But a stain right around an air vent usually means there’s something going on just behind the drywall that needs attention.

⚠️ What’s usually causing it?
Ductwork "Sweating": If the insulation around your metal A/C ducts is torn or missing up in the attic, cold air hits the hot air. The duct starts sweating just like a glass of iced tea on a summer day, eventually dripping onto your ceiling.

A Clogged Drain Line: Your A/C pulls a ton of moisture out of the air when it's running. If the drain line clogs up, that water overflows the pan and seeps straight through the sheetrock. 💸

The Fix: Definitely don't just slap a coat of primer over it! You've gotta fix the root cause in the attic first, otherwise, the water will keep coming and you'll end up with a mold problem. 🕵️♂️🧼

We crawl into the attics and tight spaces to catch these hidden moisture issues before they turn into major repair bills for you.
