If you've been waiting for the Houston market to "calm down" — April's numbers just confirmed: the wait is over.
Here's what the data is showing right now:
📈 8,196 homes sold in April — up 4.4% year over year
🏷️ Median price eased to $332,000 — giving buyers real room to negotiate
🏠 36,572 active listings — more choices than buyers have had in years
📉 Mortgage rates dropped from 6.73% to 6.33%
💡 Houston affordability improved 18 out of the last 21 months
