Tomball, Texas - H-E-B PREPPING $20 MILLION REMODEL AND EXPANSION ON TOMBALL PARKWAY
H-E-B is moving forward with a major overhaul of its supermarket presence in northwest Harris County with an extensive renovation and expansion of its Tomball store.
State filings reveal plans for a $20,000,000 commercial alteration project located at 28520 Tomball Parkway (State Highway 249). The significant investment will upgrade the existing 96,237-square-foot store to modernize interior departments and expand total operational capacity to support the area's continued population growth.
The scope of work encompasses a comprehensive interior remodel alongside a physical expansion of the building footprint. Improvements will include departmental upgrades, expanded e-commerce and curbside pickup facilities, and modernized mechanical and refrigeration infrastructure.
Construction on the $20 million Tomball H-E-B project is scheduled to begin next spring on March 1, 2027, with completion targeted for April 28, 2028.
