On the morning of Sept. 10, officials with The Ritz-Carlton announced the luxury hospitality brand will be bringing its first-ever branded residences and hotel to Houston. The Ritz-Carlton Hotel & Residences, Houston, will be located in the Uptown district near the Galleria along Post Oak Boulevard. Houston-based real estate developer Deiso Moss along with Cleary Interests and Marriott International will debut the Ritz-Carlton, Houston at 2120 Post Oak Boulevard in Uptown-Galleria.

According to a press release from Deiso Moss, the property will mark Ritz-Carlton's first combined hotel and residences in Houston and will bring together “timeless architecture, world-class hospitality, and a fully realized private residential experience unlike anything the market has seen before.”

The Ritz-Carlton, Houston is anticipated to be 44-stories and over 600 feet tall. The building will include 154 guestrooms and 114 private residences, according to the release. A timeline for construction and opening was not revealed.

“We are humbled to be part of this moment in Houston’s history. This project belongs to the city. It is conceived for Houston’s world-class residents, its future, and the generations who will look to Houston not only as the energy capital of the world, but as a place of refinement, culture, and enduring excellence. We are honored to work with Marriott to bring the storied Ritz-Carlton brand to Houston,” said Andrew Deiso and Taylor Moss of Houston-based Deiso Moss in a press release.

Houston-based national contractor Harvey Cleary will bring the full-service luxury living project to life.

The hotel will feature more than 50,000 square feet of amenities, including restaurants, lounges, cultural spaces and more.
