January came in hotter 🔥than expected for the Houston Housing Market!
Here’s how it went down-
🏡Single family home sales were up 9%
🏡Average number of days it took for a house to go under contract (DOM) was 58
🏡Avg home price rose 2.7% to $391,080

Broken out by housing segment, January sales performed as follows:
• $1 - $99,999: 🔻6.4 %
• $100,000 - $149,999: unchanged
• $150,000 - $249,999: unchanged
• $250,000 - $499,999: 🔺13.0 %
• $500,000 - $999,999: 🔺 16.7 %
• $1M and above: 🔺15.4 percent
As we know, Houston is HUGE and what’s true for Katy may not be true for Sugar Land. LMK if you’re curious about your neighborhood 🏡🏡🏡
