Life of a Landlord!!! Having a management company is worth every penny! Yesterday one of our tenants had their dog escape and attack a young girl with Spina Bifida, plus her service dog. As you can imagine the owners are concerned. While we love helping home owners with all aspects of Real Estate, it's instances such as this that we do not enjoy. We truly feel bad for this girl. As a home owner do you want this responsibility, or would you rather have a management company?

Heads up to all you homeowners out there! Your fantastic government has mandated that R22 coolant no longer be allowed within the United States starting January 1 of next year! So, what does this mean for you? Simply put, your wallet will not only be hit, but it will be hit HARD! If your system stops cooling or needs additional freon you will have NO CHOICE but to replace your entire system minus the furnace! YES YOU READ THAT RIGHT! My suggestion is to to service your system NOW and top off your R22 coolant prior to January 1. Put off replacing your system and spending $5000+!

Building out two attic spaces for a client. They wanted one to be a kids play room. That area requires a about a 20' engineered beam. That's what we are working on now.

Seller's should be made aware of knowing the correct livable area within their home. Just using the tax appraisal numbers has the ability to not be sufficient. Fortunately in this case the buyer lost, but the appellate court had to get involved.
