The first cool weekend in Houston calls for turkey legs and a joust. 🛡️
The Texas Renaissance Festival is open on weekends this fall in Todd Mission, about an hour up 249 from the city. You get 50+ acres of costumes, live shows, artisan shops and more food than you can carry.
A few tips from someone who's done it more than once:
→ Get there when the gates open. Parking and lines get worse by lunch.
→ Wear shoes you don't mind getting dusty.
→ The themed weekends are worth checking before you pick a date.
This is one of those trips that reminds you why living around Houston is so good. You can be at a medieval festival in the morning and back in your own neighborhood in time for dinner.
Thinking about the north side (Cypress, Tomball, The Woodlands) for your next home? You'd be a lot closer to weekends like this. Message me and I'll send you what's on the market up there right now.
