Recycle pumpkins

Don't forget we will take pumpkins for our farmers to feed to their livestock! They can be dropped off any time, just remember they must be UNCUT, NOT painted, and not washed with a solution designed to make them last longer. Just drop them off at the pumpkin tree, if you're lucky you'll see one of our watch guard squirrels!

Rebuilding Malibu after the January 2025 Palisades fire has been slow, with nearly 600 homes destroyed and only 17 building permits issued so far. The city set up a Rebuild Center to help residents navigate codes and permits, but no homes have yet been completed or received certificates of occupancy. Mayor Marianne Riggins says many residents are struggling with the lengthy process, and some have opted to sell rather than rebuild.
