🎬 “Rates dropped… but here’s what nobody’s telling you.”
Mortgage rates just came down from 6.64% to 6.45% and yes, that’s actually good news.
But here’s the reality: the market is not expecting any rate cuts for the rest of 2026. Right now, there’s about a 73% chance rates stay exactly where they are through December.
Meanwhile, home prices? Still climbing. The Case-Shiller index has now recorded six straight months of growth.
So if you’re waiting for rates to drop before you buy… the market is basically telling you that wait could last the entire year.
