The Burgess Group Real Estate - Sugar Land Realtor *Trusted resource about the real estate process *Proven marketing strategies *Integrity-driven Real estate agent bios are boring, canned puff pieces.

They’re like cardboard — stiff, bland, and identical to every other bio out there. Instead of boasting ad nauseum about awards and accomplishments you’re not interested in, I’m taking the novel approach of actually giving you what you want — real answers to questions you’re probably wondering right now. "Will you return my calls, texts and emails?"

Yes. Without question. I realize this is one of

the major frustrations the general public has with dealing with real estate agents. I get dozens of calls and emails daily, and I work hard to reply as quickly as possible. As with most everyone else, especially if they run a business, I have a daily schedule and replying to texts, emails and phone calls are on that schedule at certain times of the day....not after 7pm, though. "I’ve met Realtors who are jerks. Are you?"

Depends on who you ask. If you ask certain agents who have had me stand between them and my clients and their real estate goals, they'll probably say "yes". A handful of people think I leave golden footprints in the sand. Those are the two extremes, and most people's opinion falls somewhere in the middle. Here's what I can tell you:

I'm honest and candid. I take pride in being approachable and friendly. And if you need real estate expertice or a strong dose of honesty, you’re in the right place. Loyalty to family, clients, and friends are my core values. And...

As recognition for their service to society, we provide discounts to certain segments of our community that are in these categories: Veterans (active or retired), First Responders, Teachers and Nurses. "Do you have experience doing exactly what I need?"

Until you tell me what you need, there is no way of knowing. These are "strong suits" of mine:

● Selling my client’s homes as close to list price as possible

● Getting homes sold that didn’t sell with previous agents

● Helping our clients find and get a great deal on their next home

● Making the real estate transaction and smooth as possible

If your goal or situation isn't represented on that list, don't worry. Contact me anyway. If I can't help, I’ll refer you to another agent who can. "What are you really good at?"

On a personal level, I'm pretty good bass player and still play with a couple of local bands. Professional musician was my first 20-year career. I’ve been told I’m also pretty good at cooking. On a professional level, here are the real estate skill sets I’ve developed since 2013, some before that.

● Listening. (a lost art) If I listen, my clients will tell me what they want.

● Using appropriate and effective marketing

● Negotiating the best terms for my clients

"What do your past clients think of you?"

My clients are better suited to answer this for you. Here's a link to what they think. https://markburgess.worthclark.com/testimonials.php

The U.S. housing market has tilted in favor of buyers for the first time this decade, with 3.7 months of for-sale supply sitting on the market in January. That's the most since February 2019 and up from 3.3 months a year ago. It’s worth noting that the picture looks different across different area...

As summer comes to an end, homeowners often delay their moving plans, leading to fewer homes being listed for sale in the fall—a common seasonal trend in real estate. However, this year saw an unusual shift: as mortgage rates dropped, more homeowners opted to sell despite the typical seasonal slowdown.

According to the latest data from Realtor.com, the number of homes listed for sale in September jumped by 11.6% compared to the same time last year. This means if you're shopping for a home now, there are many more to choose from and possibly make an even better deal. Let's discuss a plan for you. 832-465-2858
