Some deals test you...

Jesus and Yaya’s path to homeownership was not a straight line. There were hurdles. Real ones. The kind that would slow most deals down and stop others completely.

Not this one.

Every obstacle that came up, we worked it. Stayed diligent, stayed solution-focused, and most importantly kept Jesus and Yaya grounded the whole way through. That’s part of the job that doesn’t show up in the closing photos but it might be the most important part.

In the end, we got their closing costs covered and secured them a rate buy-down from the lender.

Today, Jesus and Yaya are homeowners.
That word means something. It is not just a title, it is stability, its roots, it’s a place that belongs to them.

Some sales stay with you long after the closing documents are signed.

This will be one of them.

The Fields had been through it in the truest sense. Listed their home. Waited. Switched agents. Listed again. Waited some more. After a few years of that cycle, the hope starts to wear thin. They began having a different kind of conversation with each other…

Maybe we should just stay?
Maybe retirement waits a little longer?
Maybe we keep living in a home that’s too big?

That’s a hard place to be in.

When we first sat down, I didn’t come in with a pitch. I came in with questions…

What do you actually need from this sale?

What has felt wrong about this process up until now?

I listened more than I talked, and once I understood their goals, we built something around them. A real plan, not a recycled one.
