From a conversation months ago… to handing over the keys today 🔑🏡

Congratulations to Desmen on becoming a homeowner!

When we first started this journey back in January, the goal wasn’t just to buy a house — it was to create a plan for his future. After months of searching, strategy, and working through every step together, we made it happen.

Coming from Chicago and making Texas home, Desmen was able to purchase a brand-new construction duplex that gives him the opportunity to house hack, build equity, and create another stream of income from day one.

What makes this even better? The home appraised above the purchase price, and the builder helped cover almost half of the closing costs. 🙌

Watching Yasmine & Mauricio get married this weekend was something I’ll never forget. As my first wedding experience, I got to witness what real love, partnership, and genuine happiness look like firsthand. Their reception was incredible, but even more inspiring was the way they look at each other and the energy they bring together.

Being surrounded by that kind of love honestly made me look forward to one day having something like that myself. Grateful to call you both not only amazing people, but realtor colleagues and now one of the best examples of what love should look like.

I almost didn’t show up to this open house.

It was raining, I had plans to leave town… but I stayed in Houston and went to work.

And that decision changed everything.

A family walked in husband, wife, kids. We toured the home, laughed, talked about where life would happen… holidays, dinners, the kids picking their rooms. It felt real from the start.

That house wasn’t the one for them.

But they chose me 🤝

We went out, found the right new construction home, and got to work:

✔️ $40,000 under asking
✔️ Strong inspection negotiations
✔️ Structured the deal the right way from start to finish

Fast forward four months later… they’re officially homeowners 🔑🏡

And it doesn’t stop there I now get to help them sell their current home and guide their full transition.

This is why I say open houses work.

You never know who’s going to walk through that door… but when they do, you better be ready.

1. Watch a full sunrise while praying about what kind of person God wants you to become this year.

2. Spend one full hour in silence with no phone, music, or distractions — just listening to God.

3. Write 100 things God has done for you in your life.

4. Take a long walk alone and pray for direction in the next season of your life.

5. Write God a brutally honest letter about your doubts, fears, and hopes.

6. Name every person you still hold resentment toward and release them in prayer.

7. Read an entire Gospel (Matthew, Mark, Luke, or John) in one day.

8. Ask God one question:
“What do you want me to build or become?”
Journal whatever comes.

9. Look at the stars and pray about how small your worries are compared to God’s plan.

10. Ask God to guide you to secretly bless someone that day.

11. Skip meals or fast from something and dedicate that time to prayer.

12. Memorize one verse that anchors your faith during difficult moments.

13. Write down everything you think defines you - then ask God which parts are true.

14. Play worship music and worship freely for 20-30 minutes.

15. Write your life story and highlight where God showed up.

16. Create a vision board based on prayer, not just goals.

17. Write your top 5 fears, pray over them, and surrender them to God.

18. Walk through your city and pray for strangers, homes, and businesses.

19. Spend time simply praying:
“God, here I am. Use me however you want.”

20. Pray for the people your life will impact 10-20 years from now.
