Recently, some loan officers are promoting the 0% down payment.

It might sound appealing, but let's break it down to see why 0% Down Payment might not be a good program:
- No Real Benefits: With a 0% down payment, you’ll need to take out two loans – one for 97% of the home’s value and another for the remaining 3%.
- Refinancing Restrictions: If interest rates drop, you must have the money to pay off the 3% loan before you can refinance.
