Download the GFL MyPickUp app to get real-time trash and recycling updates. Weather can delay or change service, and this app is the fastest way to know what’s happening so bins aren’t left out or blowing down the street.

2️⃣ Missouri City Emergency Alerts

This is how the City sends urgent, real-time updates during storms and emergencies.

3️⃣ NEW: Missouri City 311 App & Website
311.mctx.gov
This new tool lets residents report issues directly to the City, including:
• Streetlight outages
• Flooding concerns
• Downed signs or hazards
• Graffiti or code enforcement issues
• Lost pets (storms are a big reason pets get out)

It connects you straight to the City faster than posting on social media.

❄️ KNOW THE 4 P’s (the practical version)

Pipes – Drip faucets, open cabinet doors, and know where your main shutoff valve is before you need it.
People – Check on elderly neighbors, kids home from school, and anyone who lives alone.
Pets – Bring them inside early and have food, meds, and comfort items ready.
Plants – Cover or move what you can now instead of waiting until conditions get worse.
