Today I toured a new 60 foot model home in Elyson and it definitely stood out.

From the moment you walk in, the layout feels intentional— open, functional, and design for everyday living, but with a clear touch of luxury throughout.

The game room overlooking the main living area was one of my favorite features, especially with the custom built-ins. The primary bathroom felt like a true retreat with natural light, a freestanding tub, and spa style finish. Even the media room, secondary suite, and upstairs bedroom were all thoughtfully design with comfort and privacy in mind.

What stood out the most was how consistent the design quality felt throughout the entire home, not just one room, but cohesive experience on every level.

New construction in the Katy area continues to evolve, and communities like Elyson are a great example of the level design and lifestyle. Builders are bringing into the market right now.

The market is starting to shift—and buyers are making moves.

🔹 New Listings: ⬆️ 4% (3,934 → 4,092)

🔹 Pending Sales: ⬇️ Slight dip (2,414 → 2,317)

🔹 Closings: ➡️ Basically unchanged (+0.4%)

🔹 Showings: 🔥⬆️ 19.2% (40,248 → 47,975)

What does this mean? More homes are hitting the market, but buyers are taking their time before committing. However, the surge in showings tells us one thing clearly—buyers are out there and actively looking.

This could be the early wave of the summer push, as many families aim to move before the new school year starts.
