Last week was insanely busy and I have been waiting to share this one until they surprised their family with the good news.

Now I can share!!!

I had the blessed opportunity to help my husband and I very best friends. Not just any friends, friends we have had since we were teenagers, the kind you leave your children to in your Will, those kind of friends.

A few months ago they came to me and said they had been looking at houses and were heavily considering putting theirs on the market. They asked if I would help and of course I said YES!

We listed their home and started looking at new homes in an area they liked.
Within 21 days we were under contract! So they put up earnest money for the new house. The plan would be perfect, they would sell and buy, close both in the same day.

Fast forward to the end of October, closing day, my clients sign and we then get word the buyer isn’t coming to the closing!
COMPLETE DEVESTATION!
Now both houses won’t be able to close and we are all in shock!

After picking themselves up, they keep moving forward. We relist and start the process all over again. Wait it out through the holidays and in January are back under contract!!

This time, it all works out! I was able to help them with a multiple offer situation, and get them $10k over list price!!!

We made it back to the closing table, this time actually closing both (in the same day)!!

Patience and determination at work on this one, but most of all everything in god’s timing!

What a way to start December!!

Helping families is what I love best.
Today my clients were able to close a chapter. He had lost his sister and she left her estate to be handled by her brother. With some patience and due diligence, the right buyer came along!

It’s not about sales, it’s not about commission, it’s about people. It’s compassion and caring. I am thrilled to have been able to help them and I hope we made his sister proud today!
