Nobody tells you that one of the sweetest surprises of raising kids is that sometimes your kids’ friends’ moms become your friends too. What a gift that turns out to be. 💛

Somewhere between all the sleepovers, carpools and dinners, our girls grew into amazing young women—and I gained a wonderful friend along the way. Not a bad trade!

One is already off at college, and mine gets dropped off next week. 🥹

These West U sellers called me before they called a contractor.

They wanted to renovate 2929 Sunset Boulevard before selling it, and they wanted a plan to get there. So we built one — new hardwoods, new marble countertops, new Sub-Zero appliances, fresh landscaping, every sight line considered. Four large bedrooms. A wet bar and a charming dressing room that make the house feel intentional.

But the porch is my favorite! It wraps the house and faces Weir Park. Coffee out there becomes a ritual. Summer evenings run longer than you planned.

Two hours on a Sunday afternoon is where every offer on this house started.

We opened the doors at 4400 Camellia Lane. Buyers came through, stood in the kitchen, watched their kids run toward the pool and sport court, and started imagining a life there. By the next day, we were reviewing multiple offers.
