No, a meteorite didn’t blow through my roof! That wouldn’t explain all the wood laying on top of it! But a very determined and strong animal clawing to get in does make sense, evidenced by animal fur on the wood it had to squeeze past. More evidence of a big hole in my soffit vent points to its departure the next evening when it found it, it’s entry hole blocked by nailed on heavy gauge wire mash I nailed over it. It’s gonna rain today so I needed to cover the hole with two layers of 15 pound underlayment roofing felt.
