Make Readies
The Porter removes trash, furniture, and anything left in an apartment by a prior resident so that the maintenance staff can make-ready the unit. Items removed from apartments are properly disposed of in property dumpsters. If an item is too large to fit into a dumpster, the porter shall break it down and make it fit.

Property Appearance
During his work, the Porter inspects the property and reports any problems to The Lead. The Porter participates in daily trash pickup on the property. The porter corrects over-flowing dumpsters by porting trash from an over-flowing dumpster to a less-full dumpster. The Porter cleans the pool and pool area so that the water and deck are free of leaves, trash, and other debris. The Porter empties all exterior property trash cans and puts the trash into the property dumpsters.

Resident Functions
The Porter may be required to assist with resident functions.

Appearance and Conduct
The Porter must report to work on-time with a neat and professional appearance. The Porter must be courteous and pleasant to residents and co-workers at all times.
