One of the most rewarding parts of real estate is building relationships that go beyond just a transaction.

My journey with this family started when I helped a mother search for her new home. Throughout the process, I had the opportunity to really get to know both her and her son. If your are thinking about selling your house, these are the firsy three people to call:

1. A real estate agent who will tell you the truth about price, condition, and strategy. Not what you want to hear. What you need to hear.

2. A professional house cleaner. I am not trying to offend you, but your house is not as clean as you think it is. Even if you clean all the time. Buyers see baseboards, ceiling fans, window tracks, smells, and the stuff you stopped noticing years ago. A deep clean changes everything.

3. A handyman. The loose k***s, the chipped paint, the dripping faucet, and the tiny things you ignored are giant red flags to buyers.

Most sellers skip at least one of these. That is ehen houses sit. That is when price reductiond happen.
