Our first home was the one everyone scrolled past. 🏡
Bad listing photos. Bulky furniture. A little rough around the edges. Sitting on the market in Oak Forest while buyers kept looking elsewhere.
We saw the potential immediately and bought it for $30K less than the identical floor plan down the street.
Then came the fun part.
Fresh paint. Updated landscaping. New light fixtures, a fence, and furniture we picked out piece by piece to fit the space. Small changes, but we knew every single one would make a big impact.
We turned it into a rental for a couple of years and it would lease within days of hitting the market every time. We knew we had created something special.
When it was time to sell, we closed at a record price per square foot for the neighborhood and walked away with a solid profit.
