📦 Depersonalization and Decluttering: Removing excess furniture, knickknacks, and bulky items makes rooms and closets look significantly larger. Buyers typically spend only 20–30 minutes at a showing. A clutter-free space ensures attention goes to architectural details, crown molding, or updated floors rather than personal items.

🎨 Neutral paint and upgraded floors in main living areas: Flooring and paint is one of the first things buyers notice when they walk through the door. Neutral paint serves as a blank canvas, allowing them to easily envision their own furniture and style in the space. Buyers who see older carpets, damaged flooring, bold or personalized paint colors will mentally calculate repair costs, often leading them to make significantly lower offers or walk away entirely.
