It ain’t all glitz and glamour in my wold.

Realized that a critter had died in my clients house about an hour before a showing.

Ran to Home Depot and got the normal “something died” smell removal cocktail.

Flew back to my listing just in time to do my “cleansing routine” including getting rid of the dead critter that had died right by the garage entrance into the house.

Fortunately, it looks like it was all worth it. The buyers notified me that they’ll likely put in an offer this weekend.

I was digging through my file cabinet the other day and randomly came across my real estate license—only to realize I just hit 15 years in the industry.

If you had asked me back then whether I’d be satisfied with where I am today, the answer would’ve been a confident yes.
But if you ask me now? I’d tell you I’m just getting started.

This business hasn’t always been easy. Markets like the one we’re in now have definitely tested me. But yesterday I closed on a new construction home for a young newlywed couple, and it reminded me why the journey is worth it. Every client represents a new chapter being written—not just for them, but for me too.

Whatever field you’re in, take today as an opportunity to start a new chapter in your story. Keep going. Keep growing.
