Remembering September 11, 2001
25 years later, I still remember exactly where I was when it happened.
I remember the shock. The uncertainty. The questions about what the future might hold. And I remember how, in the days that followed, something powerful happened—we came together.
Neighbors looked out for neighbors. Strangers helped strangers. Everyday people became heroes. First responders ran toward danger while others were running away.
There is something about difficult times that reveals true character. When the fire is hot, what is inside is revealed. And what we saw was courage, compassion, sacrifice, resilience, and an unwavering determination to protect the freedoms we hold dear.
We live in an amazing country—not because it is perfect, but because its people are willing to stand together, work hard, help one another, and continue moving forward.
Today, I remember those we lost, honor the heroes who served and sacrificed, and remember the unity that brought us together.
We remember. We honor. We stand together.
In my own small way, I carry that commitment to looking out for others into my work every day. My mission as a real estate professional is to look out for my clients, advocate for their best interests, and help protect them through one of the biggest financial decisions they may ever make.
Never forget.
