🚨Heads up, Texas agents
A new IABS goes into effect January 1, 2026.
The updated form includes specific language addressing situations where a prospective buyer is not represented and is being shown a property under a limited, written agreement, rather than a full buyer representation agreement.
This is a good reminder to review when and how you’re delivering IABS, and to make sure your email templates, signatures, and websites are updated with the new version well before January 1.
As always, follow your broker’s guidance on implementation and approved forms.
