🏡✨ THINKING ABOUT BUYING A HOME WITH AN FHA LOAN? ✨🏡

You may be closer to becoming a homeowner than you think! 🔑💕

Here are some basic FHA loan requirements:

🏠 3.5% minimum down payment in many cases
💳 580+ credit score may qualify for the 3.5% down payment
💰 500–579 credit score may still qualify with at least 10% down
💼 Stable/verifiable income and employment
📊 Your lender will review your debt-to-income ratio
🏡 The home generally needs to be your primary residence
🔍 The property must meet applicable FHA requirements
💵 FHA loans include mortgage insurance
🎁 Down-payment funds may be allowed from approved sources such as gifts or assistance programs

HUD confirms that FHA financing can allow a minimum 3.5% investment in many cases, and FHA credit policy can permit scores below 580 when there is at least a 10% equity/down-payment position. Individual lenders may have additional requirements. (HUD)
