You can spend a lot of time building a career.

Chasing goals.
Building a business.
Taking on challenges.
Trying to do the next thing better than the last.

But somewhere along the way, you have to remember to stop and enjoy the ride.

This was one of those moments. My wife and I had the opportunity to explore a country, culture and way of life very different from our own. We tried new things, saw incredible places—and decided riding a camel was a good idea. 😂

I'm grateful for the work that has allowed me to build the life I have, but I'm even more grateful for the people I get to share it with.

Work hard. Dream big. But don't forget to make time for the experiences that make it all worthwhile. Some of the best memories come from doing things you've never done before and doing it at the drop of a hat!

You don't grow by always doing what's familiar.

Sometimes you just have to say yes, get out there and experience something new.

I'm glad we did.

PS. We almost ended up bringing the camel home! Fortunately, common sense prevailed.

It's easy to get caught up in business.

The next goal.
The next deal.
The next challenge.
The next thing that needs to get done.

But life is bigger than a business plan.

Those are the experiences that put things into perspective.

They remind you to slow down. To be present. To give your time. To listen. To appreciate what you have—and to recognize how much a little of your time and attention can mean to someone else.

I'm proud of what I've built professionally, and I take what I do very seriously.

But it's not all about real estate.

Some of the things that matter most can't be measured in transactions, production numbers or accomplishments.

Where should the property be positioned in the market?

I look at the complete competitive picture:

What's active?
What's pending?
What's recently sold?
What are buyers choosing between?

Positioning it correctly is where the expertise comes in.

Before a listing goes live, I want to understand the property, the competition, the market and the buyer most likely to see its value.

That informs everything that follows—from pricing and presentation to the marketing strategy and how we create momentum once the home hits the market.

Every property is different. Every seller has different goals.
