Houston Market Update | Week 24
June 9 - June 15

This week's numbers tell an interesting story.

Buyers are showing up. Showings jumped 8.7% over last year (41,342 → 44,928),
and new listings are up 2.7% (4,098 → 4,209), so there's more to look at and
more people looking.

But they're not rushing to sign. Pending contracts are down 5.9% (2,360 → 2,220)
and closings are down 5.3% (1,802 → 1,707). People are being thoughtful about
where they put their money right now.

For buyers, that patience is actually working in your favor. Less urgency in the
market means more room to make a decision that feels right, not just fast.

For sellers, the foot traffic is there. What converts that traffic into an offer
is how well the home is priced and presented.
