Cinco Ranch, Texas is getting Popup Bagels! If you have not seen these online, the grip-rip-and-dip thing is everywhere right now, and one of the investors is former Texan JJ Watt. Katy, who is trying these first?

VIRAL SENSATION POPUP BAGELS EXPANDING TO CINCO RANCH IN KATY

PopUp Bagels, the viral Connecticut-born concept that has taken social media by storm with its famous "grip, rip, and dip" technique, is planning its next commercial project. This new project involves an interior tenant improvement of a 1,337-square-foot second-generation space, which formerly housed a salon. The build-out will feature an all-electric commercial kitchen designed to constantly pump out hot bagels, a front-of-house takeout counter, and the retention of an existing unisex restroom.

Construction on the new Katy spot is scheduled to begin late this summer on August 1, 2026, with the development team targeting a very fast turnaround for a completion date of September 15, 2026.

If you drive 90A near the Grand Parkway — good news. The county says the new overpass opens in the next few days! 🙌 After watching this thing get built for what feels like forever, no more sitting at that light. Kind of fun watching Fort Bend grow up in real time. Who else has been waiting on this one?
