Houston’s housing market is showing signs of becoming more balanced. 🏡 July home sales increased 1.6% year over year, while inventory reached a record-high 40,750 homes—giving buyers more options and negotiating power. Home prices remained relatively stable, with the median price up just 0.6% to $340,000. With mortgage rates lower than a year ago and affordability continuing to improve, Houston buyers may have more opportunities than they’ve had in quite some time.

Every transaction has a story, and boy was this one a good one!! After our first buyer got cold feet and abruptly terminated (despite a stellar inspection report), these sellers kept their chin up and plowed forward. They quickly received multiple offers and, ultimately, closed at full price a week sooner than our original offer. So happy for my sellers! 🥂
