Confusion is common in the home buying process, but it doesnβt have to be. I had a poor experience when purchasing my first home, and since then I have made it my goal to help educate my buyers and sellers from the beginning of the process. I wanted them to feel comfortable and to know I was here to help them, answer any questions they had and to make the whole process feel easily understood and e
xciting from the start. My Journey:
In 2003 I was working at Ford Motor Company, making excellent money and in the market to purchase my first home. First thing I did was contact an agent and we started searching for my dream home. During the process, I constantly felt pressure to like a home that I knew I would not be happy in. I did not understand the home buying process; I did not want to keep putting the agent out or taking up his time. However, I needed to find a home and I finally settled on something. The problem was I settled. I did not want to settle, I wanted a forever home and this just wasnβt it. After months of being disappointed in the process and not understanding what happened, my FiancΓ© asked me if I would be interested in getting my real estate license with him. He was thinking the knowledge would help him with his building license and other goals he had, but what would I do with my real estate license? It did not take long for me to decide this could be a bonus career for me, but I did not want to be the average agent like the one who helped me buy my first home. From the start, I sit down with my clients and go through services I offer. I will explain the process and see how they are feeling when we are finished. Many times, things feel very overwhelming and I am there to calm the nerves. I do not want my clients to feel the stress, I want them to enjoy the whole experience no matter what. If they are comfortable then we move forward, if they have a bad feeling or donβt understand we need to address the concern. Since taking my first real estate class in 2003 things have changed for me. I no longer work at Ford Motor Company; I am married and now have a beautiful daughter. Real estate has become my full-time job and I have continued to grow my business. Because of the flexibility of my career, I could bring my daughter with me to work when she was young. Now I want my clients to know their kids are always welcome to search for homes with us. Kids must love the home too! Currently I am working toward getting another license, my Associate Broker License. Continuing my education is also important to me so I can better serve my clients. I want to remain knowledgeable and current to support the people I represent. If you think I could be the right agent for you, please give me a call at (734) 649-1428 to get started. I look forward to experiencing this journey with you and making it a very easy and satisfying experience. I feel like by the end of the process I not only have satisfied clients, I have great friends!!
