The Texas housing market is undergoing a substantial correction, driven by a combination of oversupply, declining demand and persistent affordability issues.

But regardless of the slow market we are experiencing in North Texas, my listings still consistently win the popularity contest, and my photos on Facebook get 312% more views on average!

You can price a property correctly all day long, but if its not presented correctly, It will most likely remain on the market longer than the average 75 days. The first step is getting prospective buyers interested by introducing your home through the listing photos. Buyers might skip over listings with few photos or poor quality images. And the second step is working with a real estate professional and pricing the property correctly.

It doesn’t take a genius to understand this, but it does take someone who is experienced, has an artistic eye and talent for design and home staging - another area I excel in. You have to be willing to roll up your shirt sleeves and get the job done to make the home declutttered, clean and welcoming! Especially in a tougher market!

The bottom line - Selling your home is an arduous and difficult process. Beginning that journey with knowledge of potential mistakes and working with a real estate agent can help you to avoid common missteps.
