👏🏼 👏🏼We are so proud of these new homeowners!
The photo with keys in hand always gives reason to celebrate - but it’s really everything leading up to this moment that no one sees that deserves the applause…
…the decision to make dinner at home to save money for the down payment, when it would really be easier to get take out
…the humbleness to learn new things - like what’s an appraisal, escrow, contingency options, etc.
…the willingness to learn and understand all about mortgages, property taxes, homeowners insurance
…listening to all the advice (and being discerning when to let some of that advice go) from every friend, family member, coworker, neighbor and beyond
…and quite possibly the toughest part of it all - reigning in the emotions with waiting for the right home, in the right location, at the right time
And that is most definitely not an exhaustive list.
There’s no reason to sugar coat it - getting to the place where you can own your own property is a big deal.
Many times sacrifices need to be made and it can be an upward battle. But when you get to the finish line of walking through the door of YOUR new house, it’s been confirmed time and time again, it’s the best feeling in the world.
Today we celebrate River Falls’ newest homeowners! And so proud of all the steps you’ve taken to get here! I’m grateful for your trust in me, my team and the process along the way.
The home search door is closed, now the new step of making your house a home has just begun.
