If you are selling a home in MN/WI, it is illegal to record or listen to buyers using your homes security system.
Security cameras and smart devices have become so common and people aren't aware of the privacy laws.
Sellers should turn off their devices before showings and buyers should wait until they are outside to discuss making an offer.
