Fun Fact Friday! ✨ Did you know? This Saturday, June 13, South Street in Hudson will be transformed into one of the community's most beloved traditions: the 39th Hudson Community Fest!

From 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM, residents and visitors can enjoy a day filled with live music, local vendors, community organizations, food trucks, family activities, and so much more. It's a wonderful opportunity to experience the small-town charm and community spirit that make Hudson such a special place to call home.

Fun Fact Friday! 🌳🚶‍♀️🚴‍♂️ ☀️

Did you know Hudson is home to not one, but TWO incredible rail trails that connect our community to some of the best outdoor recreation in Massachusetts?

Today I'm visiting where the historic Assabet River Rail Trail and the growing Mass Central Rail Trail come together to create an amazing network for walking, biking, jogging, dog walking, and exploring.

The Mass Central Rail Trail is the longest developing rail trail in New England and will eventually stretch more than 104 miles, connecting communities from Northampton all the way to the Greater Boston area. Hudson is a key link in that vision, making our town an exciting destination for outdoor enthusiasts and active families alike.

The Assabet River Rail Trail already provides miles of beautiful paved pathways connecting Hudson, Marlborough, Stow, Maynard, and Acton. Along the way you'll find scenic river views, wetlands, wildlife, wooded sections, and easy access to local parks and conservation areas.

One of my favorite things about living and working in Hudson is that you can spend the morning biking the trails, grab lunch downtown, browse our local shops, and enjoy everything our community has to offer... all without ever getting back in your car.

Whether you're training for a long ride, taking a casual evening walk, enjoying a family bike adventure, or simply looking for a peaceful place to connect with nature: Hudson's trail system offers something for everyone.
