🏡✨ West Michigan Market Update!

Mortgage rates have moved back above 7%, with the 30-year fixed sitting around 7.01% this week.
Even with higher rates, inventory remains relatively low across most of West Michigan, with many local communities still under 3 months of supply. A few areas are beginning to show more balance, giving buyers a little more breathing room. 👀

✨ The takeaway: Sellers are still benefiting from limited inventory in many areas, but pricing and presentation are important. Buyers may find more opportunities to negotiate as we head into the fall market.

Happy closing day to these amazing clients and dear friends! Joel and Amy, I feel so incredibly thankful that I’ve had the opportunity to be a part of your real estate journey once again.

Kentwood has moved slightly above 3 months, while Kent City is at 6 months.

The Takeaway
🏡 Low inventory continues to favor sellers in most local markets, but higher mortgage rates are giving buyers reason to be more selective.
