Over the past 7 years, this man and I have walked through more than most people face in a lifetime. We’ve been through storms, battles, heartbreak, and moments where we didn’t know how we’d make it through… but somehow, we did.
And the only reason we’re still standing today is because of God. 🙌
Through every trial, every tear, and every test… He carried us. He never left us. He strengthened us when we were weak and reminded us that our story wasn’t over.
Today, I look at us and feel nothing but gratitude.
Grateful for growth.
Grateful for grace.
Grateful that what tried to break us only made us stronger together.
Thank you, God, for never letting go of us. ❤️
He is risen… and because of that, we have hope, redemption, and a testimony.

Tomorrow, Easter Sunday, will be one year since my dad passed away. I truly cannot believe a whole year has gone by. This has been one of the hardest years of my life, and just getting by has been a struggle.
I miss him digging through the kids’ Easter baskets, eating their boiled eggs and candy, calling me every time Georgia won to say “Go Dawgs,” and calling on my birthday to sing Happy Birthday in that crazy way only my dad could. I miss him sitting beside me in the bleachers cheering on Skye at softball games. He was my coach, and I will always remember the memories of him teaching me how to pitch and be a good one. Now Skye is a pitcher too, and him not being here to see it breaks my heart. I miss him at every family get-together, because everybody knows something is missing now that he is not here.
It has not gotten easier. I have just learned to carry the ache. But God has been faithful to send me reminders and promises that this is not the end, and one day I will see my dad again.
If you are holding a grudge against your mom or dad, please let it go. Forgive them. Move on. We are all imperfect. I just wish I had my daddy here today.
Hold your loved ones close while you can.

Pumping gas nowadays feels less like filling up and more like placing an auction bid 😅⛽️

Every time those numbers start climbing, I’m just standing there wondering who approved these prices. At this point, putting gas in the tank feels like a luxury event.

Anybody else feel like you need a small prayer and a paycheck every time you pull up to the pump? 😂

❄️ Ice days aren’t my favorite… but these moments are. ❄️
I’ll be honest—I usually dread ice days. The unknown, the cancellations, the pause on work.
But today reminded me why I’ve learned to appreciate them.
When the world slows down and work is forced to wait, we get something even better:
👉 sledding down the hill
👉 cold noses & big laughs
👉 time together we didn’t plan, but clearly needed
Grateful for days that remind us what really matters. 💙
These memories will last way longer than any to-do list ever could.
How did y’all spend your ice day? ⛄️❄️

🏠❄️ How to Prepare Your Home for Snow & Ice ❄️🏠

We don’t get winter weather often, so a little preparation now can prevent a lot of damage later.
Prepare your home before the storm:
✔ Insulate or cover outdoor faucets
✔ Let indoor faucets drip during freezing temps
✔ Set thermostat to a consistent temperature
✔ Open cabinet doors under sinks to allow warm air in
✔ Bring pets indoors and protect outdoor animals
✔ Secure loose outdoor items
✔ Make sure generators are used outside only
✔ Have flashlights, blankets, and extra batteries ready
These small steps can help protect your home, your pipes, and your peace of mind. I’ll keep sharing local, practical tips to help our community stay safe and prepared.
Please share this with friends and family. 🤍
Praying for safety for everyone impacted by the storm 🙏🏻

🎄✨ My first ever Christmas parade as a business owner in Commerce, GA and let me just say… it was an adventure. 😂🙌
We had no idea what we were doing, we literally had 2 hours to put this float together , almost missed the lineup, our generator quit on us which made our big gingerbread float start to deflate and my son had to hold it up 😳it was a day to remember for sure. 😂.
But you know what? We showed up.We made memories I’ll never forget.
Thank you, Commerce, GA, for showing up in such a big way and cheering us on.
Can’t wait to do it again next year… with a little more experience and maybe an extra generator . 😉🎄 #
