Some moments are harder than words can fully capture. This past weekend, my sister and I had the honor of presenting the very first WT & Eileen Smith Memorial Scholarship to an incredibly deserving student in Marble Falls.

Getting through this presentation wasn’t easy, and there were definitely emotions along the way, but being able to honor our parents’ legacy in a way that supports the next generation means more than we can say.

We’re deeply grateful to this young man and his family for graciously allowing us to share in this special moment, and for allowing us to share his photo. We know the emotions may never fully disappear, but we trust this will get a little easier with time - and what a beautiful way to keep their impact alive. ❤️
