Real estate doesn’t stop just because it’s summer, but I try to soak in the slower mornings, sunshine, and those little on brand moments that make the week feel worth it.

This summer, I’m sharing the real behind the scenes...the kind of days that mix iced coffee, client calls, swimming pools, and closing day celebrations.

And really it’s not just Fridays. It’s the days my daughter has off work or the days my son wants to spend more time at home rather than run around with his friends. Any chance to squeeze in that family time!

"I still can't believe she actually called you," he said from across the closing table.

I had just helped the sweetest couple buy their next home, and I was confused by what he meant.

He continued, "she talked about moving and hiring you for months before she finally did. We were nervous because we didn't know if we could even afford to move..."

"I was afraid I was gonna be disappointed and feel stupid in front of you," she interrupted.

I laughed because I'm the LEAST intimidating person ever and I think it's impossible to feel stupid in front of me, but also because...I hear this all the time.

It's normal to feel scared...it's a huge leap of faith! But most clients find that once they actually reach out, everything else seems to fall into place.
