If you’ve been wondering whether homes are still selling, whether prices are dropping, or whether buyers finally have a little more breathing room — you’re not alone.

The latest August numbers are interesting:

🏠 Median asking price: about $1.5M
🔑 Median sold price: about $1.3M
📅 Homes are spending more time on the market than they were a year ago
💰 Buyers are still dealing with higher interest rates
🌊 But Huntington Beach continues to see strong demand

What does that mean?

Sellers: Pricing correctly from the beginning matters more than ever.

Buyers: A home sitting on the market doesn’t necessarily mean something is wrong with it — it may mean there’s an opportunity to negotiate.
