John’s impressive academic and professional credentials set him apart from most agents. Before earning his California real estate license in 2015, he completed his BA in business administration with an emphasis on marketing from California State University, Fullerton. He then attended the reputable Pepperdine University in Malibu, where he earned an MBA with specialization in entrepreneurship and marketing. After graduate school, John worked in corporate finance and budgeting for 20 years where he developed outstanding negotiation skills. In fact, he produced, reviewed and negotiated over $100 million in contracts on behalf of several Fortune 500 companies. John takes pride in his close ties to the Southern California neighborhoods he serves, which include the city of Cypress and the surrounding communities of Rossmoor, Los Alamitos, Seal Beach, Sunset Beach and Long Beach. He has lived in Cypress for over 35 years, one of the few agents who grew up in the area, so he is very familiar with all the different models of homes in the various tracts. In his spare time, John enjoys the California sunshine with his son, walking their Terripoo mix. He also regularly volunteers hours as both head and assistant coach for Cypress Pop Warner, a youth football, cheer and dance program, and for Friday Night Lights flag football league.
