In light of continued global health concerns and current guidelines surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, it is with heavy hearts we have to announce the cancellation of the 2020 Vans US Open of Surfing, scheduled for August 1-9.

The Vans US Open of Surfing has always been about bringing people together in a healthy, fun and interactive environment, and given the size and scale of the event, we can’t see a way to do that this year without sacrificing what makes it so special. Though we are disappointed, the health and safety of our attendees, athletes, staff, and the local community will always be our top priority.

Thank you for your continued support. This event would not be the same without the awesome surf, skate, and BMX fans who come out to connect and have fun with us year after year. We look forward to hanging out with you on the beach next summer!
