🐢💚 THIS IS SO EXCITING FOR HUNTINGTON BEACH!

UPDATE: The eggs have been moved to the Aquarium of the Pacific to protect them in anticipation of high surf.

A historic sea turtle nest has been discovered on Huntington City Beach near Tower 15! Wildlife experts from NOAA, U.S. Fish & Wildlife and other agencies are closely monitoring the nest while the eggs develop.

How we can help:

• Stay outside the protected fencing
• Don’t touch or disturb the nest area
• Take all beach gear and belongings with you
• If you spot a sea turtle, give it plenty of space and notify a lifeguard or call NOAA at (562) 506-4315

Cold temperatures and extreme high tides are among the biggest challenges these little turtles may face, so for now, we get to admire from a distance and cheer them on! 🐢🌊💙

Nobody walks out of a showing thinking “those scuffs.” 🖊️

They just say it didn’t feel right, and they move on to the next one. Which is the hardest kind of feedback to fix, because it doesn’t tell you anything.

So here is what it usually is - five small things, none of them structural, all of them the things you stopped seeing about a year after you moved in:

The scuffs at hip height down the hallway. The closet that reads as small because it is full. The counter that always has something on it. The front step nobody has swept since spring. And the wall color you chose for your life in that house — which is exactly why it doesn’t work for someone imagining theirs.

None of that is a renovation. It is a box of magic erasers, some moving labels, four baskets, an hour at the front door, and the right paint.

That last one is the one people get wrong most often, so I put the six colors I actually use in a guide — codes, real rooms, and how to tell which walls are even worth painting. Comment PAINT and I’ll send it. 🤍

💪🌊 WODAPALOOZA IS COMING TO HUNTINGTON BEACH!

Get ready for a BIG weekend on the sand! Gymreapers Wodapalooza SoCal is taking over the north side of the Huntington Beach Pier September 25–27.

This three-day fitness festival brings athletes from around the world to Surf City for a weekend of competition, fitness and fun right on the beach.

Wodapalooza is a ticketed event for spectators, with single-day and 3-day passes available. One spectator ticket gives you access to the festival events, including the Wodapalooza competition, USA Weightlifting, Strongest in SoCal, live music, the Brand Expo and more. Kids 7 and older need a ticket. Tickets can also be purchased on-site, but organizers recommend buying ahead for the best price and availability.
