Buying your first home in SoCal may feel daunting and overwhelming, but it certainly isn’t impossible!

So what’s the difference-maker? PREPARATION

-> get fully pre-approved by a reputable lender
-> have all of your ducks in a row paperwork wise
-> clear your calendar and make yourself available to see homes that meet your criteria as quickly as possible
-> be decisive and emotionally ready to submit an offer

The competition is fierce out there shopping in the first timer pool of buyers with a narrowing price margin especially in micro OC + LB markets.

So if you’re just scrolling online or casually popping into open houses, chances are you are likely going to stumble upon something you love. And if the home is priced well + in a desirable neighborhood, there will be a line of buyers ready to go while you’re scrambling.

3. Staying up way too late (because we’re negotiating on behalf of our clients)

Does the agent you hired to sell your home print out cheap flyers, have zero refreshments, fail to provide team collateral, finance breakdown sheets of your property or free helpful guides, not straighten the furniture, and posts up dirty cobwebbed open house signs (only allowed during spooky season 🕸️)???

If so, you need new a better team representing you and your home deserves more than that!😉

It’s important to know (or if you don’t know, ASK) agents that you’re interviewing to sell your home, what all do they do?

Follow them on social media platforms, watch their day-to-day IG stories, get a feel for who they are as people, because I can guarantee you can tell a lot about a person based on their level of commitment and attention to detail.

This may sound like a no brainer, but I can’t tell you how many open houses + showings we attend where the agent couldn’t both to show up or swing by the house to make sure it’s tidy and shows in its BEST possible light.
