There’s a lot being said about the housing market right now, but here in North Alabama, the numbers tell an encouraging story.

In June, 1,525 homes sold across our combined market, compared to 1,256 this time last year - an increase of about 21%.

Nationally, we’re seeing movement too, with existing-home sales up 3.2% and reaching their highest level since December 2025.

The takeaway? People are still buying and selling. But today’s market is more selective, and having the right pricing, strategy, and local knowledge matters.
