When I first met these sellers, they put me through an intense interview. I got the listing, but they kept me on my toes. He is retired military, she is no-nonsense. But we developed trust and respect over the weeks of selling...even when I had to deliver hard news about repairs or appraisals. We closed today and shared hugs and I was invited to come see them in their new home when they get settled. The hugs and gratitude and his endorsement of me being "a good, trustworthy person" made it all worth it. My clients are rarely just my clients. They become family and always leave an impression on me for years to come.
