Agent spotlight | Say hello to Emily Yancey. She grew up outside Falkville, AL in Morgan County. Emily, her husband Stephen, sweet daughter Miriam, and a small flock of chickens now call a 10-acre homestead in Morgan City home. Emily loves planting a garden each spring, crocheting, and weaving. And she and Stephen are slowly renovating their 1960 home as they bring their homestead to life. They are members at Trinity United Methodist Church in Huntsville and are in the Sanctuary Choir and Trinity Vocal Ensemble.
Emily earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from UNA (Roar Lions!). She first became involved in real estate in 2012 in the title insurance industry. In 2022, though, Emily decided to switch sides of the closing table and earned her real estate license.
Emily loves Huntsville! 🚀 She writes, “Even with all the growth, it still feels like a small town. Nerdiness mixed with southern charm makes it such a unique place!” (Gosh, we agree!!)
As a native North Alabamian, Emily knows the ins and outs of Huntsville and its surrounding areas. She’s a wonderful resource and agent!
