Chasewood Village Apartments

Last night, just after midnight, building 3640 caught on fire burning a portion of the structure. We are extremely grateful that the was on site so quickly and able to extinguish the flames within 30 minutes containing the fire to only a few units on the back of the building. We are still investigating the exact cause of the fire, but at this time it appears to have been an electrical issue.

All of the residents who have been displaced from their homes have been moved into other vacant units within Chasewood Village and will be receiving assistance from our owner’s and staff to help them in this transition. Those displaced will be receiving a month of free rent along with other support as needed.

Fires do happen as was evidenced last week at Vanderbilt Manor Apartments. The cause is now believed to be cigarette that was thrown on the porch. Just something to be mindful of....
